Sander Kostollari, First Violin
First violinist Sander Kostallari has been playing with the Dearborn Symphony for 20 years, serving as both substitute Concertmaster and Assistant Concertmaster on numerous occasions. He started playing violin at the age of 6 in Albania when his parents first recognized his interest in singing, listening to and watching classical music concerts on TV. Sander enjoys basketball and biking, and has spent most of his time at home walking and biking his neighborhood, keeping up with his three children, and playing the violin in the backyard. He says he has been playing some outdoor weddings and the like, but looks forward to returning to the concert hall.
