OCT 2, 2026 | 7:30 PM | SYMPHONY AT SEA

Symphony at Sea launches Worlds of Sound with a sweeping musical voyage across oceans and eras. From the regal grandeur of Handel’s Water Music and the cinematic adventure of The Sea Hawk to the unforgettable romance of Titanic, this program captures the sea in all its power and mystery. The journey culminates in Debussy’s La Mer, alongside our 2026 Youth Artists Solo Competition winner, cellist Brandon Gajek, performing the fiery first movement of Kabalevsky’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 49.

NOV 6, 2026 | 7:30 PM | FORCES OF NATURE

Forces of Nature invites you into a world of energy, elegance, and imagination. Beethoven’s Creatures of Prometheus Overture, Op. 43 ignites the stage with heroic brilliance, followed by the playful charm of Carnival of the Animals, a delightful portrait of the animal kingdom for audiences of all ages. The evening soars to a triumphant close with Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551, Mozart’s majestic “Jupiter,” a masterpiece of classical grandeur.

The Four Seasons explores the cycles of time through music both timeless and familiar. Experience the vivid imagery and virtuosity of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, one of the most beloved works in the classical repertoire. From the fresh optimism of Copland’s Appalachian Spring to the high-energy nostalgia of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with a Jersey Boys medley, this program bridges centuries with melodies that celebrate renewal, rhythm, and the spirit of every season.

Interstellar Incredibles blasts off into the thrilling worlds of film and imagination. From the wonder of Star Wars and Close Encounters of the Third Kind to the heart-tugging charm of Up and the heroic energy of The Incredibles, this concert celebrates the unforgettable music that brings epic stories to life. Featuring iconic themes from Interstellar, The Lion King, Moana, and more, it’s a cinematic adventure designed to thrill audiences of every generation.

MAY 7, 2027 | 7:30 PM | THE PLANETS

Holst’s The Planets brings the cosmos to life in a breathtaking multimedia experience. As we perform The Planets live, stunning high-definition imagery from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center will surround the audience, transforming the concert hall into a journey through our solar system. Majestic, mysterious, and awe-inspiring, this season finale invites you to experience the universe as never before.

All regular season performances will be held at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn. Friday night concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

An outdoor concert by candlight presented by the City of Dearborn.
Held at Dearborn’s Peace Park West. Bring your chairs or blankets and settle in under the stars.

A Holiday concert presented by the DTE Foundation
Sounds of the Season is a festive, family concert of music magic to ring in the holidays.
This concert is free and open to the public, thanks to the DTE Foundation.
Free tickets are required from the Ford Community & Performing Arts Box Office for admission.
Present your ticket after the concert for free admission to the Festival of Trees!

DEC 5&6, 2026 | THE NUTCRACKER

The Nutcracker is performed by the renowned Ballet Americana, featuring stars of American ballet, with live orchestra provided by the Dearborn Symphony. Presented in collaboration with the City of Dearborn.
